ABOUT MOPS
MOPS stands for Mother of Preschoolers and is a program designed to nurture mothers with children from infancy to kindergarten. MOPS meetings are held the 1st & 3rd Fridays of the month from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. October-May. Registration is required.
WHAT MOPS OFFERS
A morning at MOPS provides a place for busy moms to...
RELAX—With children lovingly cared for in our MOPPETS program, moms can focus on their own needs.
CONNECT—Through discussion time, friendships are formed while sharing the joys and challenges of motherhood.
LEARN—Guest speakers provide tools to help with the challenging roles of mother, wife, and woman.
CREATE—Some weeks there is time to chat over a fun craft project.
GROW—Seasoned “mentor moms” give insight from their years of mothering and provide encouragement and support.
EAT—At each meeting moms are treated to a delicious breakfast.
THE MOPPETS PROGRAM
While you are enjoying a morning of relaxation and rejuvenation, your children are being cared for in a parallel program called MOPPETS. Our MOPPETS program is designed specifically to care for the needs of infants, toddlers, preschoolers and kindergartners. Every MOPPETS morning is filled with stories, songs, crafts, playtime, and a snack. We have loving teachers and volunteers in each room to care for your children.
WHAT DOES MOPS COST?
We want to make our MOPS meetings affordable and do not want anyone to be excluded due to financial reasons. If you decide our MOPS group is right for you and your children, there is a suggested donation of $4 per meeting to help cover the cost of childcare, speakers, crafts, and refreshments. Moms are also asked to pay a $23.95 MOPS-to-Moms membership fee.
