Maple Tree Preschool

Maple Tree Preschool was begun in 1979 as an early childhood, Christian, first school experience for children in the community and First Reformed Church.
More than 90% of the students come from beyond the church's walls, which allows the teaching staff many opportunities to share the love of Jesus Christ in various tangible ways.
Along with Zoo-phonics and Handwriting Without Tears, the remainder of the curriculum focuses on planned units of study which encompass various aspects of nature: insects, mammals, the ocean, etc. And studying nature always leads back to the Creator! The staff of Maple Tree Preschool is grateful to be involved in this unique ministry to both children and their families.

Staff
Maple Tree Preschool teachers have Bachelor Degrees in Education and are certified by the State of Michigan. They bring a wealth of teaching experience to your little ones. We have been blessed with staff longevity! Many of our staff members have taught at Maple Tree 15 years and more! Our teachers and teacher aides hold Red Cross certification for both CPR and First Aid. All staff have been screened through a criminal background check to insure the safety of all students. The staff members have been selected both for their nurturing characters and for their dedication to Christ.
