The youth ministry at First Reformed Church (FRC) exists to develop and nuture within the youth a deep foundational faith, evidenced through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ that is lived out through missional service and compassionate care.

FRC embraces youth ministry as a high value. The youth within our church and community are not the church of tomorrow, they are a vital part of our live and our church's ministry today. We invest purposefuly in each student's faith develpment, equipting and empowering them to embrace their calling in Christ, providing them with the nexessary support to develop and carry a deep, sustained faith in youth, adulthood and beyond.

Our Programs
5th and 6th Grade
Collision
Collision meet's on the first and thrid Sunday's during the school year from 4:00-5:00pm in the Lighthouse (3095 Church Street; Grandville, MI). We play crazy games, blast loud music, eat a lot of food and spend time digging into God's word to see how how we can live more like Christ.

Jr. High
Elevate
Elevate meets every Wednesday night from 6:30-8:00pm in the Lighthouse (3095 Church Street; Grandville, MI).This program is designed to be a place where students can have fun, play some crazy games, hang out with friends and spend time digging into what it means to be a christ follower. Sunday School
From 11:00-11:45am on Sunday's our jr. high students hang out upstairs in the church (Rm 301). During this time volunteer teachers about what is in the Bible, how to use the Bible, and why we believe what we believe.

High School
YoungLife
Our church has partnered with YoungLife in our calling to reach every student of Grandville. YoungLife meets on Monday nights during the school year from 8:00-9:00pm at various locations.

The Verge
The Verge meets on Sunday nights from 7:00-8:30pm at the Lighthouse (3095 Church Street; Grandville, MI) from September-the Sunday before Memorial Day in May. Our meetings are a place for high schoolers to hang out with friends, play games, worship, build community with other students and leaders and learn.

Community - Every second Sunday of each month our high schoolers meet in small groups at people's homes from our congregation. This time is spent playing games, catching up, praying and supporting and learning from each other.

Group
"Group" meets Wednesday nights from 8:17-9:17 for a mid-week Bible study that meets in the lighthouse. This time is set aside for diving into the Bible, taking another look at what was talked about Sunday night and prayer. Check out our Facebook Group: http://www.facebook.com/groups/448316125179922/

Sunday School
After our church service at First Reformed Church (Sunday's at 9:30am) our high schoolers hang out in the Lighthouse from 11:00-11:45am. During this time a team of fathers who see it necessary and fun to teach the students leads a discussion of the topic and series that the students are going through during The Verge.
