Fellowship

Fellowship is essential to building community among our members. Relationships matter here, and this can be witnessed through dozens of groups and activities. Some of the groups are formal, some informal, some are based on spiritual and personal growth and others focus on social and relational encounters. All opportunities help us to grow as individuals while strengthening families and friendships. We strongly encourage all members to consider participating in a small group for community, discipleship, and caring.

Some examples of groups and activities that are available at First include:

Families Of Christ United In Spirit (FOCUS)
for all ages, 5:15 - 8:00 p.m.
This Wednesday evening program is intended to develop relationships and friendships. The casual atmosphere begins with an optional family meal together, followed by classes and choirs for children and adults. Classes focus on Biblical truths and developing a Christian life-style through a rotating curriculum based on The Great Commission.

Prime Timers
Social events open to adults at First Reformed Church ages 50 - 100.

and lots of fun. Watch for upcoming events (like great road trips, music programs, and luncheons) in the bulletin. Contact Bob Verburg,

Food for Thought
An evening women's Bible study that will pamper your taste buds and nourish your soul. This group will meet for food, fun, fellowship, and God's Word the last Tuesday of the month, from 7:00-8:30pm, beginning in September. Each meeting will feature a decadent dessert from a local eatery, followed by discussion of a lesson from the Bible.  It is our hope that through this group we will develop a deeper relationship with Christ and together create a sense of community.
